As we sell teacups and other items, we often wonder what their final destination will be.  Is it for use in the dining room, the porch or becoming a gift?

We received a note from Laura Schreiber, one of customers, after she got her teacup and saucer.  She shared with us that her Mom had brought Laura, her art student daughter, shopping in the 70s.  Mom went back to the shop and bought Laura a black and white designed cup and saucer as a birthday gift.

At the time, the gesture mattered, but she let 30 years slip by.  Then she had a dream and remembered the day.

She came upon that same teacup and saucer in our shop, Aprils Luxuries.

Laura bought it and had the feeling that her mother had given to her again. Although her mother has passed, she felt connected.

Laura, a former coffee snob, happens to have created a sketch book for coffee lovers which we enjoyed.  We are sharing the title of the book and her experience with you.
