Aynsley Bone China of England has become famous for their signed fruit designs. This detailed cornucopia of fruit was created by D Jones.
The colors are wonderful and the gold trim is the perfect edging. The teacup and saucer are both signed by her.
Doris Jones worked at the Aynsley factory from 1938 to 1969. The pattern was made by painting on the transfer pattern by hand by the artist. The colors are luscious, reflecting harvest fruit, The rich colors and signed bone china made this item extremely collectible and popular.
Notice that Jones painted the saucer grapes in pale green.
Aynsley Bone China of England was produced by the John Aynsley and Sons Ltd at Portland Works in Longton, England. They were part of the Staffordshire Potteries.
The price includes the teacup and saucer as well as free US shipping and free shipping insurance.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.85" in diameter. The cup is 4" from rim to rim and sits 2.25" high upon an elegant pedestal base. Including the handle, it is 2.9" high.
This antique china is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, stains, chips or crazing. There is some wear, but the gold is NOT worn off. The patina is visible in the pictures. There is also a couple of mold marks inside the teacup. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
