We are offering the elegant Belleek swan. The wings ad face have the famous yellow lustre as trim. Belleek makes two sizes. This is the larger version.
The swan was originally designed as a creamer with the tail as a spout and the neck as a handle.
It can be used as a candy dish but it was meant as a creamer as well as a decorative item.
The sixth green mark means it was made between 1965 and 1980.
The small pottery village of Belleek in Fermanagh County, Ireland had local clay deposits that produced exceptionally translucent goods. It became known as Parian, a soft, mother of pearl glow that became associated with Belleek China.
The world took notice and since 1853, Belleek has been prized.

Measurements: It is 6" long, 3.25" wide and 4 high. It proudly bears the sixth green mark which means it was produced between 1965 to 1980.
This is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. You may buy with confidence.
