Named after the marine mollusk, this is Belleek's limpet kettle teapot with the sixth green mark which was used from 1965 to 1980.
There is a strainer built in against the opening of the inner spout. Its name is derived because of the over the top handle as is common in a kettle.
Measurements: It is 7.5" high, 8.5" from the tip of the spout to the outer edge and is 6" wide. It holds 48 ounces.
This Irish pot is in excellent condition. Although we wish to sell, we prefer to have loyal, satisfied, repeat customers. We do this by fully describing every flaw that we see. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.

But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
We specialize in custom orders for resellers all over the world. Contact us to discuss the details.
We no longer sell to China or the Middle East. Although the people are lovely, we have had too many delivery problems.
We ship within the continental US for free. For other areas, the order is sent via First Class International Mail with the US Post Office or with Global Shipping, a company that works with Etsy.
Of course, we are happy to work with large orders. Contact us through messages and explain your needs.
Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
We offer free gift wrapping on most items. It is mentioned in the listing.

Beautiful kettle style teapot. It arrived in perfect condition, thanks to April's extra care in packaging. She always makes sure she uses plenty of bubble wrap to cushion the delicate pieces. I always appreciate the extra effort she makes to ensure each treasure arrives in perfect condition. I never have any worries when buying from her shop.
