Chrysanthemum is the birth flower for November. In the world of flowers, it symbolizes devotion, happiness and honesty.
Beautiful blossoms grace this snowy white teacup with gold trim. It was created using the Lyric shape by Royal Albert. The Friendship Series was issued from 1950 to 1970.
It consisted of twelve: Carnation, Chrysanthemum, Cosmos, Daffodil, Gladiolus, Hawthorn, Larkspur, Morning Glory, Narcissus, Primrose, Sweet Pea and Wild Rose.
Royal Albert was the upscale division of the Thomas C Wild and Sons company located in St. Mary's Works, Longton, England. They produced lovely bone china beginning in 1917. This particular tea cup and saucer is stunning in its simplicity and rich in its colors.

Measurements: The saucer is 5.75" in diameter. The tea cup is 2.75" high and 3" from rim to rim.
