The creamer, sugar and teapot are lovely. The gold does not show wear. The lid has a tab inside to help prevent the decorative lid from toppling over when pouring. There is also an air hole in the lid.
Shelley Fine Bone China is considered one of the very best porcelain houses. Their bone china is lightweight yet strong. Shelley hired the best artisans available, paid the highest wages in the industry and used the best materials then available. They became leaders in their field.

The sugar bowl is 3.5" from the outer edge of the handle to the other edge of the other handle.It is 2" high.
The creamer is 4.2"" from the spout to the outer handle. It is 3" wide and 2.75" high.
This English tea set is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. Shelley teapots are hard to find. There is some slight gold loss on the handle. Look closely when the handle is facing the reader. You may buy with confidence.
