Charm your guest with this romantic Belleek sugar bowl. The shamrocks dance across the basketweave background. It is no surprise that this is called the Shamrock Ware pattern. The interior is the same cream color as the outside, but it has a pale iridescent coating on it.
This Irish piece proudly wears the third black mark used from the 1926 to 1946. Of course, it was crafted in Ireland. It is actually meant to be a sugar bowl, but is also useful as a candy dish, vanity or desk accessory too.
The small pottery village of Belleek in Fermanagh County, Ireland had local clay deposits that produced exceptionally translucent goods. It became known as Parian, a soft, mother of pearl glow that became associated with Belleek China.
The world took notice and since 1853, Belleek has been prized.
The bowl is 2.5" from rim to rim. The base is 2.2" in diameter and it is 2" high. It is 3.75" wide.
The price also includes free shipping within the US, complimentary gift wrapping and free insurance.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
We offer free gift wrapping on most items. It is mentioned in the listing.
