Aynsley Bone China of England crafted this captivating teacup and saucer. The delightful design by the English firm highlights the charm of the Irish with their use of shamrocks. The unusual part is that it features Queen Elizabeth inside. It was created as a commemorative piece for the opening of the St. Lawrence Seaway.
Aynsley Bone China of England was produced by the John Aynsley and Sons Ltd at Portland Works in Longton, England. They were part of the Staffordshire Potteries.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The cup is 2.75" high and 3.25" from rim to rim.
This English teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence. There is no crazing, cracks, or chips.

Such a lovely teacup. I have a rather large collection and shamrock cups are some of my favorites. This was was a little unusual so I was excited to add it. April has such a great selection in her shop and always in excellent condition.
