This elegant and majestic teacup and saucer has become a favorite.
Paragon Fine Bone China of England with its double royal warrants from Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary features a gorgeous pink rose.
Queen Elizabeth was the mother of the current Queen. The warrant was issued for the service to the crown and the quality of their work.
The color is a medium pink . At first glance, there appears to be a dark line on the outside of the cup, but no, it is actually a slip of the paint brush when it was being made. It is a gold line under the glaze. See the last picture.
Yes, it does ping.
The teacup does have a tiny speck inside that occurred during manufacture. This is very common because the porcelain contained very small imperfections that surfaced years later under the glaze.

Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The teacup is 4" from rim to rim and is 2" high, 2.5" high including the handle.
This antique teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, stains, chips or crazing. We do not sell damaged items. There area couple of tiny paint bumps on the saucer. The saucer well has very slight gold wear. The rest of the cup is perfect. You may buy with confidence. We realize that we have mentioned a few little things. That is why it is priced under $200 instead of under $300. This gorgeous teacup is very difficult to obtain.
