Charm your guest with this romantic Belleek creamer and sugar. The shamrocks dance across the basket weave background. It is no surprise that this is called the Shamrock Ware pattern.
This Irish set proudly wears the second black mark used from the 1891 to 1926. Of course, it was crafted in Ireland.
The small pottery village of Belleek in Fermanagh County, Ireland had local clay deposits that produced exceptionally translucent goods. It became known as Parian, a soft, mother of pearl glow that became associated with Belleek China.
The world took notice and since 1853, Belleek has been prized.
The sugar bowl is 3" from rim to rim. The base is 2.25" in diameter and it is 2" high. It is 3.75" wide.
The creamer is 3.5" from spout to handle, 2" base diameter and 3.5" high. It is 2.75" wide.
The price also includes free shipping within the US, complimentary gift wrapping and free shipping insurance. We ship out of the country with a small additional charge.
This Irish porcelain is in excellent condition. There is a smudge under the glaze at the spout. Apparently it appeared sometime in its 131 year history. Although we wish to make a sale, we prefer to have loyal, appreciative, repeat customers. We do this by not selling damaged items. We fully describe all flaws that we see. There are no cracks, chips, crazing or repairs. You may buy with confidence.
