This lovely tea cup and saucer is by Shelley Fine Bone China of England in their Ludlow style. The backstamp was used from 1940 to 1966. This is number 2313. The pattern is called Rose Spray.
Shelley was known for its quality because they hired the finest artisans of the day and used the best quality materials that were available. They are lighter but stronger than average teacups. They have become the highest tier of English bone china.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.75" in diameter. The cup is 2.25" high and 3.5" from rim to rim.
This English teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. We do not sell damaged items. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. You may buy with confidence.
