Royal Stafford Bone China of England created this historical cup and saucer using the MacDonald tartan. The rich partially hand painted colors are also carried by the heather, one of the symbols of Scotland and the official plant of the clan.
Their motto, "By land and by sea" is jauntily depicted on the crest of the teacup by the silhouette of a ship.

Sits on the shelf right next to the Hungarian Teapot and creamer I was lucky to find. It has an almost invisible crack running down the inside by the handle - very very hard to see but can be felt. Since I only ever want to display it - don't care!! I was so excited to find this in my clan and tartan! Thank you so much!
