Aynsley Bone China of England crafted this captivating tea cup and saucer about 1940.
This is Aynsley's tribute to the British Isles by featuring the English rose, the Irish shamrock and the Scottish thistle. All of these are their national emblems.
Aynsley Bone China of England was produced by the John Aynsley and Sons Ltd at Portland Works in Longton, England. They were part of the Staffordshire Potteries.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The cup is 3.4" from rim to rim and 2.5" high.
This English teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence. There is no crazing, cracks, or chips. There is a tiny amount of gold wear on the handle. It can be seen in picture two.

Such a lovely cup. It is a great addition to my collection. It arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. It is even prettier than pictured. April always has the greatest cups in her shop. She has helped build my teacup collection amazingly fast.
