There used to be a custom where one would bring a teacup and saucer to a friend when invited for coffee or a housewarming. Then the recipient enjoyed the message of the flowers. This became known as a friendship cup. Forget Me Not flowers convey the sweet message.
Clarence China of England crafted this classic floral design in the 1960's. Clarence was owned by the Co-operative wholesale Society Ltd, The operated as the Crown Clarence Pottery in Longton, England.
The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The teacup is 3.5" from rim to rim and 3" tall.
