Royal Stafford Bone China of England crafted this mid century tea cup and saucer. They were based in the Royal Overhouse Manufactory, one of the oldest pottery factories in Burslem, the mother town of the Potteries in Stoke-on-Trent. The Royal Stafford brand was established in 1845 and is recognized around the world as providing high quality, beautiful tableware.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The cup is 3.5" from rim to rim and 2.75" high.
In the 1950s, people used to meet for coffee. They would bring a teacup and saucer and leave it as a friendship gift. The custom is being revived today.
This English teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence. It was difficult to photograph this teacup. The lines are simply reflections. There is no damage.
