Arabia of Finland has been collected for decades. This is a special teacup and saucer because of the design. It is carefully created so that the clay is almost cut through in little ovals. The little streams through. It is also difficult to photograph when one wants to illustrate that fact.
The inscribed words on the bottom of the saucer are Arabia Finland. Some call this pattern, white with translucent grains, or rice grains.
Established in 1874 in the northern outskirts of Helsinki, Arabia of Finland, produced this charming porcelain.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.25" in diameter. The cup is 2.5" high and 3.25" from rim to rim.
