The grace of blue bows combines with the serenity of pretty roses to create romance.
This set was produced by Gladstone Bone China of England. The pattern name, appropriately is Blue Ribbon. The backstamp was used from 1946 - 1961. They were another of the famous Staffordshire potteries and produced their wares at High Street in Longton, England.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.75" in diameter. The cup is 2.6" high and 3.75" from rim to rim.
This antique tea cup and saucer is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. There is small gray smudge at the bottom of the backside of the cup. When holding the cup with the handle on the left, it is below the gray border. It is under the glaze and from the original manufacture. We describe all that we see. You may buy with confidence.
