The prized workmanship of Shelley has brought a breath of fresh air into design with this friendship cup. Ladies used to bring a teacup as a token of caring. Before the days of "ladies who lunch," friends gathered over coffee.
Shelley hired the best artisans and used the finest materials available. They became prestigious. They are still highly collectible.
Using the Dainty style cup and saucer, Shelley Fine Bone China of England created this Charm pattern, number 3757, in the Richmond shape. It is partially hand painted.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.6" in diameter. The cup is 2.75" high and 3.25" from rim to rim.
This antique teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence. There are a couple of faint dots under the glazing from the time of manufacturing. For that reason, we have significantly reduced the prize.

Shipping was incredibly fast, it was shipped the same day I ordered it. The packaging was beautiful too! However, the handle of the cup did arrive broken. Most likely it was damaged during shipping. But April was very quick to respond to my messages and was able to come up with a solution! I'm very happy with the customer service, along with my tea cup!!! I will definitely be a returning customer!!
