The teacup was so stunning that they recorded the shape with the English registry in 1951. The saucer was also registered in the same year. They put these together using their pattern, Eventide, number 2741.
The flowers are stunning. The best of the Salisbury designs feature gold trim.
Founded in 1927 as the Salisbury Crown China Company, it was changed to Salisbury China in 1949. They manufactured at the Salisbury Works, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

Measurements: The saucer is 5.75" in diameter. The cup is 2.5" high and 3.5" from rim to rim.
This antique teacup is in good condition. It does not have any crazing, cracks or chips. You may buy with confidence. There is a pale purple smudge inside the cup which is visible in the pictures. There is no wear on the gold.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
