There are three wonderful red and white towels in this set. Two have probably been used more than the third because they are slightly whiter.
All have been washed and ironed in a smoke free room. Bleach was not used. Currently they are in a light ecru color. If you prefer the stark white, you would have to wash and bleach them. The are in very nice condition. There are no holes, stains, or tears. These linen towels are perfect for display, use or both. Linen is often sought after because it will not leave fuzz on glasses or dishes when drying them. Many would use this for display because the fleur de lis is especially well done.
The three towels are 19.75" wide by 34.5" long plus 3" of fringe. The red fleur de lis band is 2.5" deep. The listing states a quanitity of 1. This means 1 set which is three towels.
Please note that vintage items have gained their status through age. They have probably been used and well loved. Each has a story to tell. Though these items may have lived a charmed drawer life, they are not new. Expect imperfections, which is what gives character to each item.
