An especially beautiful handle and trim create the frame for the pink Sheraton pattern, number 13289. The lid has a double lip inside to help prevent the decorative lid from toppling over when pouring.
Shelley Fine Bone China is considered one of the very best porcelain houses. Their bone china is lightweight yet strong. Shelley hired the best artisans available, paid the highest wages in the industry and used the best materials then available. They became leaders in their field.
This attractive set comes with the matching creamer and sugar bowl. The price is for all of them.
Measurements: The teapot measures 7" from base to the top of the knob. From the tip of the spout to the outer edge of the handle is 8", It is 5" wide. It holds 32 fluid ounces of liquid.
The sugar bowl is 5" from the outer edge of the handle to the other edge of the other handle.It is 4" wide and 5" high.
The creamer is 5.25" from the spout to the outer handle. It is 3.5" wide and 3.5" high.
This English tea set is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. Shelley teapots are hard to find. There is no loss of paint or gold trim. There is one small faint smudge on the sugar bowl, but it hard to see. There are a couple of minuscule black dots inside the sugar bowl and creamer. This is common and occurs at the time of manufacture. We fully disclose any possible problems. You may buy with confidence.
