Shelley Bone China of England crafted this wonderful bird figurine, number 20, in the late 1940s. We think that the 11 is the artist number, but it might be the figurine number and 20 would be the artist.
This appears to be a warbler or a goldfinch. This sweet bird with its detailed glossy touches was created for Shelley, the British brand known for its history, provenance and classically English collections of porcelain, usually teacups and saucers. The company remains a leader in the collectible luxury tableware and giftware market.
The last sale of such an item that we could research was for $322 plus shipping using an auction format. These birds are rare.
Measurements: The figurine is 2.25" high, 1" wide and 2.5" long.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
We offer free gift wrapping on most items. It is mentioned in the listing.
