Alice H Marks was a posh New York boutique on East 53rd Street. It opened in 1952.
This particular tea cup and saucer was purchased in England by them and resold in the shop. Of course, it is bone china.
The colorful flowers were the focal point which transmitted a sense of spring.

The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The cup is 2.75" high and 3.25" from rim to rim.
