This is an exceptional antique teacup and saucer.
Davis Collamore and Co. was a prestigious importer of fine quality items. They rivaled Tiffany and others. They also appeared at the Paris Exposition in 1889. A very interesting history is offered by Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Davis_Collamore_%26_Co.
H and Co is the manufacturer. It was owned by Hill and Co at the St James Works from 1898 to 1920. Attention to detail is evident with the footed teacup and aristocratic handle on this hand painted tea cup and saucer. The roses are lovely. The gold shimmers. There is scant gold loss after 138 years. One has to study it in order to find any.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The cup is 2" high, including the handle, it is 2.5" high. It is 4.25" from rim to rim.
This gorgeous teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. Although we wish to sell this set, we prefer to have loyal repeat customers. We do not sell damaged items and we note any flaws that we see. There are no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. You may buy with confidence.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
We offer free gift wrapping on most items. It is mentioned in the listing.
