Like a fine Belgian needlepoint, the daisies, ivy and vines intertwine to mesmerize the beholder. The pattern is called Dainty Mauve and it was used upon the Dainty shape.

Shelley Fine Bone China of England employed the best artisans of their day and used the best materials available during manufacture. The company is now considered a premier china. They were owned by the Shelley Potteries Ltd and were produced at The Foley in Longton, England.

This is their Dainty Mauve Daisy pattern, number 051/M. It is difficult to obtain in this color. There are some minute wear scratches on the saucer in the white area. They are so fine that we were not able to make them show in the photos. There is no color loss.

Measurements: The saucer is 5.75" in diameter. The cup is 3.5" from rim to rim and is 2.3" high. The set is in the Dainty Shape.

This English teacup and saucer is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. You may buy with confidence. We do not sell damaged items.
