Set the tone for a luxurious afternoon tea by using this classic, antique Spode hard paste teacup and saucer. Gaze at the design and feel the exotic setting.
The paste is a creamier color than bone china because it was fired at a lower temperature.
Spode Bone China of England crafted this striking teacup and saucer. It is called the India Tree pattern. There were two backstamps used. This is the older one printed in black which dates between 1805 and 1815. The Josiah Spode company was on Stoke on Trent, making it one of the Staffordshire Potteries.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The cup is 2" high and 3.6" from rim to rim.
This set is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, chips or crazing. We do not sell damaged wares. You may buy with confidence.

Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
We offer free gift wrapping on most items. It is mentioned in the listing.
