This is a wonderful Belleek piece. It can be used as a dish or as a sugar bowl. It is either the Neptune sugar bowl pattern or the Cardium on Shell dish. They are frequently used interchangeably.
What is the Cardium? According to Wikipedia: Cardium pottery or Cardial ware is a Neolithic decorative style that gets its name from the imprinting of the clay with the shell of the cockle, an edible marine mollusk
Belleek has been producing fine parian china since 1853 in County Fermanagh Ireland.
This piece bears the Sixth Green Mark which denotes the years 1965 - 1980 as the time of manufacture.
It is It is 4.4" long, 4.75" wide and 2.75" high. The price also includes free gift wrapping, free US shipping and free insurance.

I really love this pretty little bowl. The Neptune design is so pretty and so delicate. Great addition to the collection. Usually it hard to find one of these pieces without some kind of damage. The shell feet on the bottom are so easily damaged. But I knew that April would make sure to wrap it securely so there would be no damage and she did not disappoint me. The bowl is in perfect condition.
