High society delighted in fur and the coats have seen a revival in vintage clothing.
This shiny dark brown real lapin (rabbit) fur jacket has plaid taffeta lining. There are initials, AHE, but they were not embroidered, but rather purchased in a fabric store and applied. There are two 5.5" vertical front pockets.
From the neck to the bottom of the jacket, in back, it measures 25.5". Across the back in about the middle it is 28" From the shoulder seam to the bottom of the cape, it is 25". From the neck seam, over the shoulder, to the bottom of the piece is 30.5".
Please read the measurements to be sure for you. We are not experts at sizing. It is shown on a very tall store mannequin. It is probably a large to extra large size.
This cape has been stored with a furrier every year. It is not shedding. The label states: Furs by Al Zeller, St. Johnsbury, Vt. The boutique was in business from 1985 to 1995.
There are no returns.
This fur is in excellent condition. It is clean, soft and supple. There are no tears or stains in the fur or the lining. Although we wish to sell, we prefer to have loyal, satisfied, repeat customers. We do this by fully describing every flaw that we see. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.
