High society delighted in furs. The runways are now promoting fur again.
This particular natural gray fur jacket is great fun. There is fur under the color (so that it can be worn up) and has two front pockets. The label is Alexandre de France.
It is soft and supple. It is not shedding. Lapin or rabbit is an inexpensive fur that does shed, often a lot. This one is not doing that now. Some are better than others in that regard. A few years from now, it may.
The lining is in excellent condition. Even the underarms are spotless. There are no tears or stains.
From the collar seam in back to the back hem, the coat measures 27.25" The vertical front pockets are 5" long. We placed some white napkins inside to illustrate their placement.
From the collar seam to the sleeve edge (over the shoulder and down), it measures 28.75". From the top of the neck to the cuff it is 32".
From the mid armhole across the back to the other armhole, it is 20".
There is a tag inside that states it is a medium size. Please read the measurements and compare them to one of your coats. We are not experts at sizing.

This fur is in very good condition. There are no rips, tears or bald spots. The last three pictures show the underarm inside, the collar and the cuffs. As you can see, there is little if any signs of wear.
There is one hook for closure.
The lining is a light gray satin.
NOTE: because of the weight of the coat when packed, it cannot be sent to Europe. The cost is prohibitive. It will only be shipped to the US and Canada.
