Paragon Bone China of England produced this stunningly beautiful hand painted Coronation tea cup and saucer.
This set glistens with golden borders, scalloped edges and lovely pale aqua interiors.
This English bone china cup and saucer commemorates the first anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II on June 2, 1953 at Westminster Abbey. The charm is owning a subtle piece of history. Here one is aware of the Queen because of the E wih the crown over it. The unknowing, at first, see it only as a lovely teacup and saucer.
Paragon received royal warrants from the English royal family for their service to the Crown as well as their quality of production. The double warranties on the cup bottom refer to Queen Elizabeth, mother to the current Queen of England, as well as the Her Majesty now.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The cup is 2.1" high and 4" from rim to rim.
This tea cup and saucer is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, crazing or chips. You may buy with confidence.
