High society delighted in fur stoles and they have seen in revival in vintage clothing.
This stole has been stored, glazed and cleaned with a professional furrier since it was purchased. It was top of the line in its day. The lining is a brown satin. There are initials, MLB, which are sewn on letters embroidered inside They can easily be removed. There are two front panels that are large enough for a hanky or to warm one's hands.
This is a gorgeous, dark mink. It is authentic natural mink, not dyed.
It came from a smoke free home. There are no odors. The ends are 8" wide. From the shoulder near the back collar, down the front, to the bottom of the stole measures 23" In the back, from the collar seam to the bottom of the stole, it measures 18"
From the collar seam, across the shoulder to the bottom side is 22". (This is like measuring a sleeve.) Under the collar on the outside, the lining is made of a rich brown velvet.
This appears to be a "One size fits all." It would probably fit from a size 2 to a size 14. Please read the measurements. We are not experts at sizing. Having said that, stoles are the one item of clothing in which size is not as important. The lady in the photo is normally a size 12.
This was purchased from an estate. It is authentic fur, NOT a synthetic.

This stole is in excellent condition. It is clean, soft and supple. There are no tears, wear spots or stains. Both the lining and the fur are in lovely condition. Although we wish to sell, we prefer to have loyal, satisfied, repeat customers. We do this by fully describing every flaw that we see. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.
