High society delighted in furs. The runways are now promoting fur again.
This adorable piece can be worn as a short coat or a jacket. There is a name, Lauren, that is embroidered in the lining at the neck area. It has two front pockets.
The cuffs have elastic inside which creates a windbreaker sleeve and have the same lining as the jacket itself.
The collar has a fur lining which means it can be worn up or down.
It is a medium weight. It is a natural, not dyed, brown racoon. It is brown but there are many dark black streaks in it which make it a fur for both blonds or brunettes. The fur is in excellent condition. The color is most accurate in the first few pictures.
There are two French hook and eye closures. This means it has a hook which clips shut after going through the round covered loop. There is also an inner sleeve cuff which serves as a wind breaker.
The lining too is in superb condition. There are no tears or fading. It is a black satin9
There are no odors. From the collar seam in back to the back hem, the coat measures 26" The front pockets are 7" long. From the shoulder seam to the cuff, the sleeve measures 25". From the mid armhole across the back to the other armhole, it is 21".
The live model usually wears a size 14. Therefore this is actually a little small on her. She is 5' 1" tall.
This appears to be a medium size. It would probably fit from a size 8 to a size 12. Please read the measurements. We are not experts at sizing. It is suggested that you compare measurements from one of your coats to our measurements to gauge the fit.
This piece was obtained from a home where it has been well cared for. It is in excellent condition. The fur is soft and supple.
