Irish shamrocks dance across this delightful Belleek teapot with the green mark. It is called the Tea Kettle teapot because the handle goes over the pot. It is hard to find.
The small pottery village of Belleek in Fermanagh County, Ireland had local clay deposits that produced exceptionally translucent goods. It became known as Parian, a soft, mother of pearl glow that became associated with Belleek China.
The world took notice and since 1853, Belleek has been prized.
This traditional teapot has the basketweave design with the delightful shamrocks.
Measurements: It is 7" spout to handle. 5" wide and 5" high. It holds 2.5 cups of liquid or 20 ounces.
This Irish teapot is in excellent condition. Although we wish to sell, we prefer to have loyal, satisfied, repeat customers. We do this by fully describing every flaw that we see. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.

This teapot may be my all time favorite piece of Belleek. It is so interesting and beautiful. Check out the cool handle and rotund shape. It has so much personality. I love it! The teapot was securely wrapped for a safe arrival and beautifully presented in shamrock green paper tied up with lace like ribbon. Unbelievable presentation- like it was a special St Pats gift for me - not just an order. SO classy and lovely. What a great dealer! I’ll be keeping an eye on this shop!!!

Perfect little teapot. I have been looking for one like this for awhile so am so excited that April found this piece. April has helped me build my Belleek collection.
