Irish shamrocks swirl beautifully across the shapely Belleek tea cup and saucer. Notice the handle is a harp shape. No wonder this is called Harp Shamrock Ware.
The small pottery village of Belleek in Fermanagh County, Ireland had local clay deposits that produced exceptionally translucent goods. It became known as Parian, a soft, mother of pearl glow that became associated with Belleek China.
The world took notice and since 1853, Belleek has been prized.

Measurements: The saucer has a 5.25" diameter. The cup is 2.5" high and is 3.1" from rim to rim. From rim to outer handle, it is 3.75"
They proudly wear the Fourth Green Mark used from 1946 to 1955.

The cup arrived really fast. It is absolutely beautiful. What a great find. April always finds the best pieces. She has really helped me build my collection of Belleek China. She always takes such good care of each piece, wrapping them so carefully so there is little chance of them arriving damaged. I will only buy my Belleek online from April's shop. I know I can only count on her pieces to arrive safely and exactly as described. Never had any bad experiences when buying from her.
