High society delighted in fur and the fur trimmed pieces have seen a revival on the runways this year.
This wonderful dark brown winter parka is made of sheared mouton fur, the designer name for lamb. It is trimmed with a soft, deep brown leather. The fur is thick and in excellent condition.
The quilted fabric lining is also in superb condition. There are no initials. The label says "Made in Italy. This was an expensive item when new.
There are two 5" front slash zipper pockets.
From the collar seam to the bottom of the jacket, in back, it measures 23". The zipper in front is 19.5" long. It runs from near the top of the collar to the waist band. The waist is small at 37". The top feels roomy, but the waist is snug.
The top of the sleeve to the cuff is 26". From the armhole to the cuff on the underside, it is 17" It measures 21" from underarm to underarm in front. Shoulder to shoulder is 17.5".
It would probably fit from a size 6 to a size 8. Again, the shoulders are roomy, and the waist is small. Please read the measurements to be sure for you. We are not experts at sizing. The manufacturers said it was a size: small. This is made in the USA.

It is clean, soft and supple. There are no tears or stains. Although we wish to sell, we prefer to have loyal, satisfied, repeat customers. We do this by fully describing every flaw that we see. We do not sell damaged items. This jacket came from a furrier. It has been stored with him yearly during the warm weather. You may buy with confidence.
