Irish shells dance across the New Shell Tea Ware Belleek tea cup and saucer. The ruffled rim gives the special look of distinction.
This is the fifth green mark for the years between 1955 to 1965.
This pattern is one of their most popular. It features seashells with highlights in luminescent yellow.
Belleek is well known for their Parian ware. Quality and fine craftsmanship have been the guidelines of Belleek Fine China of Ireland since its inception in 1858 on the banks of the River Erne.
The river provided the power. The Irish provided the skill. The land provided the raw materials. At the Dublin International Exposition of 1865, the Irish Parian ware won its first gold medal.

The cup arrived in perfect condition and is exactly as pictured. April always finds the greatest cups. This Belleek is so pretty, I just love it. It's a perfect addition to my collection.
