Celebrate flowers with this colorful design called Poppy. This Flower of the Month series was made in the 1950s and 1960s.
It consisted of 12: Snowdrop, Violets, Daffodil, Daisy, Hawthorn, Dog Rose, Water Lily, Poppy, Morning Glory, Cosmos, Chrysanthemum, and Holly.
Royal Albert Bone China of England crafted this wonderful teacup and saucer in their Hampton shape. It is hand painted. It was number 8 in the series, perfect for an August birthday.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The cup is 2.75" high and 3" from rim to rim.

I have never received a package from Etsy (or anywhere else for that matter) so beaufully packaged. This was not to be a gift, but to add to my collection of Royal Albert bone china. I haven't been able to work up the determination to unwrap it yet. Beautiful job & thank you so much. It was so unexpected.
