This soft aqua set glistens with golden crests and a royal crown to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. Note the backstamp. It is very unusual. It was produced in June 1953.
With a slightly ruffled cup and saucer, a shallow wide mouthed cup and elegantly decorated handle, it is stunning.

Paragon Fine Bone China was produced at the Atlas Works in Longton, England. It was formerly the Star China Company. The words By Appointment in the backstamp refer to the royal warranties given by two Queens of England for the company's workmanship and service to the Royal Family of England.

Measurements: The saucers are 5.5" in diameter. The cups are 2.25" high and 4" from rim to rim.
