Royal Albert Bone China of England issued a Flower of the Month Series of teacups and saucers in 1970. They used their cup shape named Montrose.
There was one for each month: Snowdrops, Violets, Anemones, Sweet Pea, Lily of the Valley, Roses, Forget-Me-Not, Poppy, Michaelmas Daisy, Cosmos, Chrysanthemum, and Christmas Rose. Here we are offering the September featured flower Michaelmas Daisy.
This flower is actually in the aster family, but is commonly called a daisy. It appears in shades of lilac and purple. The flower has come to symbolize childbirth, motherhood and new beginnings.
The price includes free shipping within the US, a $14 charge outside of the US. It also covers shipping insurance. One can upgrade to Priority Shipping for $6 in the US.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.5" in diameter. The cup is 2.75" high and 3.5" from rim to rim.

Beautiful cup. It arrived quickly and was well packaged against the post office’s torment. Inside, the cup set was beautifully wrapped and ready for gift giving.

I have been looking for this cup for some time. I was so excited when I saw it in April's shop. It arrived today and is absolutely beautiful. April always has the best collection of cups and I know that whatever I order will be exactly as described and as seen in the pictures she posts. My orders always are shipped right aways and are always packaged so there is little chance of them getting broken during shipping.
