Colorful sweet peas cascade over the glossy white china on this birthday tea cup for the month of April. They are, of course, the birth flower for the spring birthday.
Royal Albert Bone China of England issued a Flower of the Month Series of teacups and saucers in 1970. They used their cup shape named Montrose.
There was one for each month: Snowdrops, Violets, Anemones, Sweet Pea, Lily of the Valley, Roses, Forget-Me-Not, Poppy, Michaelmas Daisy, Cosmos, Chrysanthemum, and Christmas Rose.
