Introduce luxury into your teacup collection.
Hammersley Bone China crafted this elegant cup and saucer with the pedestal base and golden handle. The backstamp was introduced in 1939. The outside of the teacup is a pale yellow. The inside has hand painted flowers. Hammersley and Company was produced at the Alsager Pottery factory in Longton England. It was considered one of the Staffordshire Potteries.
This was a shelf piece, never used. It still has its original sticker from the premium Newbury Street store, Shreve Crump and Low, where it was purchased. As Wikipedia describes it: Shreve, Crump & Low, a Boston, Massachusetts business, is the oldest purveyor of luxury goods in North America, responsible for trophies such as the Davis Cup and the Cy Young Award.
Measurements: The saucer is 5.75" in diameter. The cup is 2.5" high and 3.8" from rim to rim.

Of course, we are happy to work with large orders. Contact us through messages and explain your needs.
Do not wash any of the china in the dishwasher. It may cause crazing if boiling water is poured directly into the cup. These are not made for microwave use either.
We do not know the exact materials used in the china. We are selling them as decorative items.
We offer free gift wrapping on most items. It is mentioned in the listing.
