This was created in England by Royal Albert Bone China. Inspired by the royal gardens of Windsor Castle, this pattern is called Lady Carlyle.
Charming chintz fabric in the background with grandly accented bouquets grace this exquisite teacup and saucer. Doesn't tea taste better in lovely English bone china?
Notice the RD mark on the bottom of the cup. It means that the pattern was registered with a pattern office in England when it was created. There were no copyrights back then. We know that this backstamp was used from 1940 to the 1950s. This pattern was so popular that it was reissued many times. Be assured that this is one of the early creations. They used their Malvern shape.
