This wonderful Kaiser demitasse cup and saucer is called Linderhof. The snowy white background has blue and gold designs on it. The handle is fabulous and also trimmed in gold.
Kaiser Porzellan is a German porcelain manufacturer founded in Coburg, Bavaria, in 1872 by August Alboth. AL-KA Kunst changed company name to ‘Kaiser’ around late 1960. The name is a combination of the first two letters of each family name of the company's founders, "Alboth" and "Kaiser". This particular cup and saucer wears the mark used in 1970.
This is a demitasse cup. It is 2 1/2" tall, 3" including the handle and 2 1/2" on the cup opening. The saucer 4 1/4" in diameter.
