This basket weave set has a touch of green. The handle gives a special look of distinction.
It wears the sixth green mark for the years between 1965 to 1980. This set has a holder and six egg cups. The 1 in quantity means one set. The sign is not included.
Belleek is well known for their Parian ware, the beige clay made from Irish river beds. Quality and fine craftsmanship have been the guidelines of Belleek Fine China of Ireland since its inception in 1858 on the banks of the River Erne.
The river provided the power. The Irish provided the skill. The land provided the raw materials. At the Dublin International Exposition of 1865, the Irish Parian ware won its first gold medal.
The price also includes free US shipping and free insurance.
Measurements: The holder has a 6.75" diameter. It is 5" tall. The egg cup is 2.25" high and just under 2" from rim to rim with a 1.25" base.
Important: One of the egg cups has a tiny chip on the outside. We have shown it in the picture. We bought the piece anyway because it is so rare.
The other Irish pieces are in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. You may buy with confidence. We disclose everything.
