Alfred Lanternier Limoges is from France. The artist has created a spectacular floral pot.
This French Limoges piece has exceptional details on the handle and spout. It has hand painting.
Technically speaking this is a coffee pot because the spout is at the top which allows grounds to settle at the bottom. There is also a few holes inside the pot which allows the beverage to flow out.
The handle is sturdy. There is lots of gold and it has weight to it. This is elegant with borders, elevated dots and even a design in the porcelain itself. The outside has a bisque finish. The inside is glossy. It was made between 1891 and 1914.
Measurements: It is 6.75" from spout to handle. It is 9" high and 3.25" wide. It holds 34 fluid ounces or 4 1/2 fluid cups.
This gorgeous French Limoges piece is in excellent condition. You may buy with confidence. We do not sell damaged items and we note any flaws that we see.
