This Chinese basket was made in the 1920s. Notice that the top has ornaments which are glass beads, Chinese money, silk tassels and a Chinese glass pull ring. The money has holes in the center because it was easier to keep on a scale with a holder through the center of the coin.
It serves a myriad of uses, but simply it is a pleasure to look at and was hand woven.

This basket is in excellent condition. There are no breaks or missing pieces. We do not sell damaged items. You may buy with confidence.
