Remember the teapot that Nana used to own? It sat on the kitchen table ready for afternoon tea. It was sturdy enough for anyone to handle and keep the tea hot.
This is the traditional blue and cream design. The pattern is called Springtime. It even has the lid catcher to prevent the decorative lid from toppling over. Sadler used this impressed mark beginning in 1937. The inside has holes to pour the tea. There are no tea stains inside.

Measurements: From base to the top of the knob is 6.5" From tip of spout to curve of handle, it is 9". It holds 32 fluid ounces. This would be considered a six cup teapot.
This English teapot is in excellent condition. Although we wish to sell this set, we prefer to have loyal repeat customers. You may buy with confidence. We do not sell damaged items and we note any flaws that we see. In this case, there is a tiny indentation in the lid at the edge. It was actually a bubble that popped when it was in the kiln. It is considered a small flaw but not damage. We took a special picture of it. There are also a few tiny dots that occurred while being made that were caused by imperfections in the clay.
