Elegant roses grace the gentle folds of this splendid Shelley bone china pitcher and rare covered condiment set. It could be used for sugar, jam or mustard. The top has a slot for a spoon or small knife spreader. It neatly fits upon a round saucer of its own. (We do not have a knife or spoon for it.)
Picture yourself enjoying this charming set made in the famous dainty shape by Shelley. The pink handle is reminiscent of a graceful stem holding its floral blossom. The pattern is called Rose Spray. number 13545. It is one of the most popular Shelley designs. Its twin image is Bridal Rose, number 13545.
Shelley became highly prized because they employed the best artisans of the day and used the most expensive materials in their production. The weight of the pieces are lightly than most and yet stronger. Many say that owning a Shelley spoils one for any other brand.
