It is extremely well made. The handle has a 6" drop. The box portion is 9.5" long, 7.5" high without including the handle and 2.7' deep. It can expand a little more.
The inside is completely leather. There are four structured pockets. The back one closes with a snap. Inside are three little pockets attached to the wall of one of the separators. All of this is in excellent condition.
I personally enjoyed using it. In 2002, I had the handle replaced by Hermes. At that time, the store told me that they were reissuing the design. They included a xerox of it and the price was then $5,120 and called sac "Fonsbelle."
This is a top quality, luxurious handbag. It is vintage from the 1950 - 60s. The bottom and corners are also lovely. The fittings are brass.
