Royal Doulton of Nile Street , Burslem, England made this lovely coffee pot between 1952 and 1979. The pattern is called Adrian. It is now discontinued.
As you can see, it has an inner gold laurel and an embossed swirl body. Many like the finial on the cover the most. Of course, this could be used as a teapot too.
The fancy lid has a lip inside to help prevent the cap from falling when pouring. The handle is easy to hold. The inside is spotless, perhaps never used.

Measurements: From the pedestal base to the opening, it is 7 1/2 inches. The pretty cover is 2 1/2 inches high. The opening is 3 1/4 inches from rim to rim. It is 9 inches from the tip of the spout to the outer edge of the handle. The swirled body is 5 inches wide.
This English serving piece is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. You may buy with confidence.
